Comprehensively Certified Instructor
Stormie Partee is your everyday, west Texas gal! Originally from Big Spring, TX Stormie had a very active and athletic upbringing. Before graduating high school and moving the DFW to attend University of North Texas to study Risk Management and Insurance, she spent much of her time playing club volleyball and incorporated her love for the sport throughout her college years through intermural. In 2018, after suffering from her second knee injury (while playing volleyball) Stormie was introduced to Pilates through her rehabilitation specialist and she immediately fell in love with the fitness program, and was committed to being in the studio every day the doors were opened.
Stormie took her love for the program to the next level in July 2019, and pursued her first teacher training certification through Club Pilates with the goal of becoming a full-time Club Pilates instructor. After completion, Stormie fell in love with the rich history of authentic Pilates and made the leap to bridge to classical Pilates mat education with the reputable and internationally regarded Power Pilates NY. It was then that Stormie knew she wanted to take her understanding of Pilates to the next level and pursued her 2nd Comprehensive Pilates Certification with prestigious 600+ hour Century Pilates Teacher Training Program headquartered in Arlington, TX.
Stormie currently continues to excel in the insurance industry and is the current Commercial Lines Team Lead and Operations Manager at Boyd, Shackleford, Barnett & Dixon, LLC. Stormie is a devoted daughter, sister, ‘Auntie’ and most importantly, a Mom to two beautiful boys; Graham Alan and Carder Knox.
One of her biggest hopes to come from her commitment to proliferate Pilates is that her boys recognize the importance of a great fitness program and healthy lifestyle – to be a role model exerting strength, independence, positivity, and determination. With all of those characteristics in mind, she wishes to spread her love for Pilates to every person she encounters.
