Amandas full-time gig makes her a vital component to her family’s transportation business. She loves having the opportunity to work alongside family and working with people & drivers. On one fateful day back in 2018, after work, Amanda took her first Pilates class when her aunt suggested she tag along. Amanda was hooked and couldn’t wait to go back and try it again. The flow of the workout and pace was like nothing she had ever done before and noticed almost immediately that on the days she did Pilates to unwind, her sleep had never been better and her mood had improved.
As a student at Century Pilates, Amanda completed a “30 classes in 30 days” group class challenge and realized that she had a burning desire to set her fitness goals higher. The style of workouts that Century Pilates provided was like nothing any studio Amanda had been to before could offer. With more equipment options, and the perk of an emerging teacher training program, Amanda knew she wanted to be a part of it and share with others what Century shared with her.
Amanda and her “Most amazing husband, Charles” live in Grand Prairie and are proud parents to two children both attending UNT at Denton, and two fur that they love more than most humans!
Fun things she bets you never would have guessed about her is that she loves to go fishing and sing while she’s cooking. When she’s not working at the family business and taking and teaching classes at Century, she can be found at any DFW pro sports game, Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars, all things Texas.
Amanda’s fun loving, eternally optimistic perspective on life makes her very aura empowering and contagious. When taking a class with Amanda, her hope is that you can get out of your own head for 50 minutes and focus on yourself, balancing your mind & body… she’s got the ‘Good Stuff,’ folks.
